1. Who we are
M&M Nest is a self-catering studio apartment in Windhoek, Namibia, let by Ketu (the host). The apartment is registered with the Namibia Tourism Board. Contact: [email – enable JavaScript]
2. Booking
Bookings must be requested at least 2 days before arrival. A booking request is not binding until the host confirms it by email. We reply within 24 hours. The confirmation states your total price, your booking reference and the payment details.
3. Prices and discounts
The regular rate is N$1,000 per night for the whole studio, for up to 2 guests. As an introductory offer we currently charge N$900 per night (10% off). The nightly price is all-inclusive: there is no cleaning fee and no deposit.
Stay longer and save more: an extra 5% off for stays of 3 to 6 nights, an extra 10% off for 7 to 27 nights (weekly) and an extra 25% off for 28 nights or more (monthly). Only the highest applicable length-of-stay discount applies. Returning guests, meaning guests who have stayed at M&M Nest before (including through Airbnb or Booking.com), get a further 5% off; the host verifies this before confirming. Discounts are combined, each applied to the already reduced price, and the total for your stay is rounded down to the nearest N$100.
All prices are in Namibian dollars (N$). The currency selector at the top of the page shows approximate amounts in other currencies for your information only; payment is made in Namibian dollars. The total in your confirmation email is fixed. If you prefer to pay in euro, ask us in reply to the confirmation email; the euro amount is then calculated at the exchange rate on the day of confirmation.
4. Payment
You can either prepay or pay at the property.
- Prepayment by bank transfer: due within 3 days of confirmation, or sooner if your arrival is less than 3 days away, otherwise the dates are released. Pay in Namibian dollars to our Namibian account (the bank details are in your confirmation email), or in euro by SEPA transfer: just reply to the confirmation email and we will send you our euro account details. Please use your booking reference and cover your own bank charges.
- Pay at the property: in cash on arrival, in Namibian dollars only and in whole hundreds (no change is given). You receive a receipt.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel free of charge until 3 days before your arrival date. After that, or if you do not arrive, the first night is charged and the rest is refunded. A booking confirmed less than 3 days before arrival is therefore subject to this rule from the moment of confirmation. Refunds are paid by bank transfer to the account the payment came from, within 14 days.
6. No right of withdrawal
Accommodation booked for a specific date or period is exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts (Article 16(l) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU). The cancellation policy above applies instead.
7. Your stay
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 12:00. House rules: 2 guests maximum, no smoking indoors, no parties or events, no pets, quiet hours 22:00–07:00. You may be asked to show identification at check-in. Guests are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear.
